A.

Introduction

The following is a summary of the hardware and software available for translation, publishing / localization, and website design, construction and maintenance. Listing all our available hardware and software would go beyond the scope of this summary. Therefore only the most significant hardware and software are listed. The fact that a particular hardware or software product is not listed does not mean that it is not available. Our extensive up-to-date software library enables us to accept and prepare materials in all common formats (e.g., as an HTML or PDF document, or as an Interactive Electronic Technical Manual – IETM). Should additional hardware and / or software be necessary for a given task, it can usually be acquired and installed within a few days.

In most cases only the current software version is listed. For compatibility with the files and requirements of our clients we also have previous (older) versions of most software products. Some software is available in both English and foreign-language versions, some in English versions only, some in foreign-language versions only. Multilingual spell-checking and hyphenation are available for most of the word-processing and publishing software products.

Section D lists additional file formats that can be handled using conversion software.
